I am Jyoti Keri, and I have been teaching science and math to students in grades 2, 3, and 4 at Shri Sharada Public School in Annigeri, Karnataka, for the past three years. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science from Government College, Ramdurg, followed by a Master of Science in Mathematics from Rani Chennamma University, Belgaum, and a Bachelor of Education.

In my classroom, I emphasize active engagement and playful activities, often using everyday objects to teach math and using techniques like counting backwards to help students refocus when they are distracted.

Teaching is my passion, and it has been my goal since childhood to become the "best" teacher. I believe that as an educator, I should always be open to learning from my students, who show me a great deal of respect and joy.

My primary role models have been all the teachers I had growing up, as well as my mother, who has been a particularly significant inspiration in my life.

My experience with the Aikyam program has been very positive, as it provides a platform for students to become aware of their surroundings and develop leadership qualities and social skills. The program helps children eliminate their inhibitions and gain the confidence to share their ideas freely. The children are excited and fully engaged in the activities.
