We observed students in our class tear off and discard a whole page from their notebooks for a small mistake they make.  The wasted paper is ultimately burned by the school house keepers. We estimate that this behavior in just our school alone causes the loss of one tree per week.

Imagine the impact of this at the city or town or state or national level. We were appalled by the size of the problem caused by a small misbehavior. This compelled us to take action to bring awareness in the community to change their behavior and find ways to upcycle wastepaper into products to contribute towards improving the environmental balance.
