In our school the cleaning staff collect dry leaves in the campus and burn them. This emits carbon monoxide gas.  Inhaling carbon monoxide gas is harmful to our health. Food  uneaten by some of the students during lunchtime is thrown in the dustbin. This attracts houseflies.

We have planned to prepare a pit for composting dry leaves and food waste in a sustainable way. This helps organic farming and can be used in kitchen gardens, nurseries and fields - recycling waste in an environmentally friendly way while improving the air quality.
