Climate change and population growth poses a serious threat to India's water security, and wiithout adequate measures to address these challenges water scarcity will worsen with significant social, significant and economic impact. Water pollution is a major contributor to this problem. We believe it is important to empower local communities through environmental education to take action to combat water pollution.
